Coincidence or the elite using numerology…..or is this just another conspiracy theory gone mad?
There is an earthquake 88 days before the Olympic games begin on the 08/08/08 at 8:08pm. The category of the Sichuan earthquake is measured at 8.0. on the richter scale. Strange or just coincidence?

There is also a total eclipse of the sun 8 days before the Olympics, the eclipse ENDS in.......China! Strange or just coincidence?

Did toads predict the Chinese earthquake?

Two days before the quake thousands of toads suddenly decided to move across a bridge in Taizhou, a town in the Jiangsu province. Chinese web users are wondering why the local authorities didn't relate the event to the imminence of an earthquake, and why scientists didn't take notice of the bizarre disappearance of a lake in Enshi, in the Hubei province, on April 26.
A seismologist tells us that the Chinese have long relied on the behaviour of animals to predict earthquakes. Although there's no scientific study to back up the farmers' claims, the idea that toads sensed the earthquake should not be ruled out.
"Animals sense pre-earthquake micro-tremors"
Pascal Bernard is a researcher in a team of seismologists at the Jussieu University in Paris.
"Although it's difficult to prove that toads "predicted" the quake, it's certainly not impossible. We know that animals sense pre-earthquake micro-tremors, and react to underground water movements, or even changes in the composition of the air. It's just that these theories haven't been scientifically proven yet.
China has a long tradition of seismology studies based particularly on looking at the behaviour of rats, snakes, toads etc. The idea was very fashionable in the 70s [when scientific researchers were ousted in the cultural revolution]. Farmers very carefully noted down all the different kinds of behaviour of animals in the hope of predicting natural catastrophes. But in my experience it never really worked. In 1975, villagers did manage to predict an earthquake and avoid catastrophe. But it was because they felt the mini-tremors, not because of something they noticed in the animals."

The Crossing Point of Light blog has posted comments before regarding animals and even humans feeling the effects of an earthquake hours before they occur.
Are ufo lights linked to county quake
ESP and a very british earthquake
It maybe worth noting one of the comments posted on the France 24 website:
There was a report on CNN (US) yesterday (5/15) about a large "invasion" of frogs in part of Bakersfield, Cal. Apparently hundreds of thousands of frogs have left their normal area and are spreading out through the surrounding residential district. Apparently such an event on this scale is unknown in this area. The video can be accessed at:

I hope this is not a precursor to a major seismic event but all the same it is worth noting.

ARE 'UFO' LIGHTS LINKED TO COUNTY QUAKE?

Several sightings of strange lights appearing in the sky were reported in the days leading up to the quake, which happened early on February 27.
And some believe that these could be "earthquake lights" - caused by changes in the electrical properties of the ground before a quake occurs.
There have been many similar reports of "earthquake lights" throughout history.
The best-known case was in Lincoln's twin town, Tangshan in China in 1976, before a massive quake that killed 240,000 people across the nation.
The first photographic evidence was captured in Japan during a number of earthquakes between 1965 and 1967.
Husband and wife Jamie and Emily Goddard, of Alexandra Terrace, off West Parade, Lincoln, captured the lights on a mobile phone camera just as they appeared above Drury Lane around 8.30pm on February 22.
Eight members of staff from Lincoln College witnessed the phenomenon after a ghost walk around Lincoln's Cathedral quarter on the same night.
Staff member Nyla Khan (25) said: "It looked like a plane but there was too much light and then it just disappeared. We saw about six or seven lights."
Schoolteacher Lois Pittman (48), of Cambridge Avenue, Yarborough Road, Lincoln, saw the lights as she was outside putting some rubbish away.
She said: "I've not heard of earthquake lights before. I'm going to look more often at the sky now. If I see lights I'll expect an earthquake. If it's a warning we should explore it a little bit deeper."
Five days later - at the moment the earthquake happened - Elvira Witney (83), of Westgate, Louth, saw a grapefruit-sized glowing sphere of light in her bedroom. She said: "I heard a very loud bang and a lot of rumbling, and then I was aware that in the direction of the window there was a glowing sphere about five feet in the air.
"It came towards me for a second or two and then it dropped to the ground and travelled along a bit more by the side of the bed.
"Then it just went out like a light. I was terrified. At first I thought it was gas and it was going to set on fire. But it caused no damage at all."
Not all scientists are convinced.
Dr Ian Sutton, from the geology department at the University of Nottingham, said: "I would be very surprised if there was a link.
"I feel it is a coincidence."

ESP and a very British Earthquake
Last week the UK experienced one of its worst earthquakes in many years. The earthquake measured 5.2 on the Richter scale. Thankfully no one was injured or killed following the quake. It was labelled by the press as a very British earthquake.
A day before the earthquake occurred a member of my family (who is believed to have much better ESP than myself) experienced very severe headaches and a feeling of being very ill. I shall call this person “H”. It is worth noting at this point that “H” rarely suffers from any form of headaches and the only illness “H” has suffered in the past is a slight cold.
On the morning of the earthquake “H” felt very weak and tired and still felt very un-well, because of this “H” decided to go to bed early.
At 12:55am (two minutes exactly) before the earthquake hit, “H” woke up very quickly. It is also worth noting for reference that H is a very sound sleeper and can sleep through most sounds and events. “H” awoke feeling very scared and suffered a feeling of their legs becoming very heavy. Then at 12:57am the earthquake struck. After the quake “H” suddenly returned to normal and no longer felt ill or scared.
Was the feeling just before the quake a genuine illness or had “H” experienced an ESP ‘feeling’, almost giving prior warning to the up and coming events? “H” told me what had occurred the day after the event and it got me thinking. Do animals experience the same feelings as “H” just before an event such as this? Did the animals in Asia, who fled the disaster area hours before the Tsunami, have the same feeling as “H”?

It would be of great scientific interest to most of the population of this planet if a study of this nature could be carried out. If we, as humans can “sense” an earthquake or Tsunami hours before they strike we could save so many lives and so much suffering that often follows such an event.
Have any readers ever experienced a feeling just like “H” before an earthquake or another impending disaster?
